" I must admit I initially got hooked with this machine just because of its sleek look. After researching reviews on Amazon and office websites I decided to give it a go and it turned out to be a great buy! Machine was actually bigger than image, extremely sturdy and well built. Comb opener runs smoothly. I found it's very easy to punch, not much force is required (no pressure on high heels...). Very pleased with the purchase and got lots of compliments from the girls in the office. Oh btw, don't throw away the colourful chips from the chip tray, save them for office birthday confetti!!! "

Cons: Quality Construction, paper flops down while you try to punch., the machine moves while you try to punch, the fellowes galaxy 500 is mostly plastic., there is no place to get service for fellowes.
" I purchased the Fellowes Galaxy 500 on Oct. 12, 2011. I bind approx. x 20 - 3/8" manuals a month. This machine worked great until about Feb. 2012 and I started noticing that the binding portion of the machine was getting harder and harder to open the comb binds. Then it eventually stopped opening the comb binds all together. The machine is mostly light plastic and I don't want to pull down too hard or I am going to break the comb binding Handle! It's totally stuck now and won't open. If you are looking for a heavy duty, long lasting comb binding machine... This isn't it! The last binding machine I had lasted 10 years... 4 months with this one, 4 months... terrible. Will never buy fellowes again. "
