" Je suis satisfait de cet appareil qui fonctionne très bien et en silence. Je signale quand même deux défauts. Il faut s' assurer que les feuilles qu'on insère dans l' appareil soient bien alignées, sinon, ca ne fonctionne pas. L' appareil s' arrête quand il y a un peu trop de papier dans le bac de récupération. Il faut régulièrement tasser le papier dans le bac de récupération pour pouvoir reprendre le broyage. "

Pros: well built, strong blades, hand feeds fast
Cons: only letter size paper neatly stacked, cannot hand feed curled paper for reasons below
" The paper you load must be letter size and stacked neatly. I threw in envelopes with letter size papers, and that did not work. Magazines will also not work. They will have to be handfed from above. If you try to handfeed too fast, the papers or envelopes can get into the space under the lid. See the photo. This is because the blades are about 5 inches below the opening where you handfeed from above. But the paper guide is not long enough to guide all the paper straight down. Maybe in the future, they can come up with a design that has a roller which directs all papers and envelopes of any size, towards the blades when stacking them inside. Otherwise, it is a sturdy machine and it will definitely last longer than those smaller paper shredders. "

When it comes to feeding documents through the manual slot of the auto feed machines, it is best to make sure that they are as flat as possible to avoid curving in the machine and missing the slot. Also, when using manual feed, we recommend feeding slowly and as accurately as possible, making sure to not release the document until you feel it is being pulled into the machine by the cutters. That way, you are ensuring they have reached the blades and not misfeeding. We hope this helps, but please call us if you have any additional questions. We value your feedback!
