Is there assembly required?
No, the workstation comes fully assembled out of the box. All you’ll need to do is set up your equipment using the cable management features and set the tension.

How much weight can the Lotus™ Sit-Stand Workstation hold?
It can hold up to 35lbs total; 30lbs on the top platform and 5lbs on the keyboard platform. We would not recommend using the product with less than 10lbs. You can adjust the tension with our Smooth Lift Technology™ (patent pending) to offset the weight of your equipment and accessories (between 10 – 35 lbs).
Can you fit two monitors on the top surface?
Monitors may have slightly different sized bases and frames, but if you are using a modern monitor from one of the large manufacturers, you should be able to fit two monitors side by side up to 24”. Alternatively, you can secure your monitors to the Lotus™ with a Lotus™ Dual Monitor Arm. View the Lotus™ Monitor Arms here.
Does the Lotus™ Sit-Stand Workstation need to be fastened to the desk?
No, the Lotus™ was designed as a stand-alone sit stand that can sit on top of the desk and has been independently tested to ensure stability. The workstation should be placed on a flat surface that can accommodate the entire width and depth of the product without overhang.
Will it damage my desktop?
The Lotus™ has rubber feet that help protect the desk from scratching the surface of your desk.
What’s the minimum size of desk required to successfully install this product?
The Lotus™ should be placed on a sturdy, flat surface at least 26" deep and 34" wide to have sufficient space for the product
How stable is the keyboard platform when typing?
Under normal use, the platform is stable. If you want to maximize the durability of the product, please do not lean or apply excessive force to the keyboard platform.
How do you adjust the Smooth Lift Technology™?
Ensure your workstation is raised to the highest position and all of your items are placed on it. As per the image below, turn the knob clockwise (toward the + sign) for heavier weights and counter clockwise (towards the – sign) for lighter weights. Lotus™ is shipped at the lowest setting which is 10lbs to get to the highest setting 35lbs is 27 full rotations. For example, if you have two monitors that weigh 10lbs each and a keyboard and mouse that combined weigh 3.3lbs, you would turn the knob clockwise approximately 14 full rotations. The exact number of rotations depends on your personal comfort raising and lowering the platform. This is just a guideline.
I did not line up my Velcro properly on my Lotus™ Sit-Stand Workstation the first time and now it’s not usable. Can I have more sent to me? Is there a product you would recommend to replace?

Additionally you could also go to your local hardware store and purchase adhesive Velcro discs (3.5mm).
How does the cable funnel attach to the Lotus™ Sit-Stand Workstation?
There are three locations in the rear cable channel that you can choose from. Find the slot that will best accommodate your setup and place the cable funnel into the slot. You will feel it magnetically attach to the Lotus™. The cable funnel should now be in place.
How can I apply the cable zip using the cable zip tool provided with my Lotus™ Sit-Stand Workstation?
First you will need to clamp the cable zip tool around all cables below the cable funnel (make sure the arrow on the cable zip tool is pointing upward). Next, take the cable zip and push upward into the tool so that the cable zip beings wrapping around the tool. Make sure the seam of the cable is facing the tool. Once it’s started, pull downward on the cable zip tool while holding the top of the cable zip. Continue sliding the tool until all cables are in the cable zip. Please refer to step 3 in the instruction manual.

Yes, there is an 8 hour auto-shut off feature on the 8040901 Climate Control Footrest.
How hot does the 8040901 Climate Control Footrest get?

Is the Climate Control Footrest Energy Star Rated?
In regards to Energy Star regulation, the product is considered as a "Space Heater", but the EPA (Environment Protection Agency) does not currently label space heaters as Energy Star qualified/qualifiable products.
Is the 8040901 Climate Control Footrest certified?
The 8040901 Climate Control Footrest is ETL certified. A product bearing the ETL Listed Mark is determined to have met the minimum requirements of prescribed product safety standards. Moreover, the mark indicates that the manufacturer's production site conforms to a range of compliance measures and is subject to periodic follow-up inspections to verify continued conformance.
What does the red flashing light indicate on my Climate Control Footrest?
"When the red light is flashing, it could indicate one of two things:
- The product is equipped with an eight hour shut-off feature and once it has reached eight hours, the fan stops and the red light flashes. Switch the product to ""off"" and wait five seconds. You can then turn the product back on.
- If the red light is flashing and the product has not been running for eight hours, it is likely that the fan has reached the end of its life. You will not be able to reset the product in this case.
What kind of plug is included with the 8040901 Climate Control Footrest?
The Climate Control Footrest has a 2 conductor, ungrounded plug.
What would happen if something fell through the holes on top of my 8040901 Climate Control Footrest and got inside of the product?
Dust or crumbs should not cause smoke and definitely not fire. The heater is low wattage and will not get remarkably hot. The fan will also blow dust back out that has fallen into the product. Normal heaters that are in the market are in the 1500 watt + range. This is a 250 watt product.
Will the Climate Control Footrest automatically cut off if it is knocked over?
The short answer is No. But this heater has four safety features: 1) It has a design that is not flat on the top or bottom. This allows air to circulate even when upside down. 2) It has an internal thermostat. This will keep the unit from overheating. 3) It has a thermal cut out installed within the heater itself. This will permanently deactivate the product if on the odd chance the two previous items fail and it overheats. 4) It is a low wattage heater and will not heat the surrounding area too quickly.

Unfortunately, no. Fellowes has tested the maximum height and weight distribution to ensure the safety of persons and equipment using this product. Additional risers are not recommended, as injury or equipment damage could result.

Mouse Pads & Wrist Supports
Do Fellowes mouse pads / wrist rests contain latex?
Our Crystal gel products are made entirely from polyurethane, and are latex free. While latex is not intentionally added to the product, it is not made in a clean room environment. Meaning, we cannot guarantee small amounts of cross contamination.
Latex comes from natural rubber. Polyurethane is petroleum based and includes no natural rubber. The gel on our keyboard managers and fabric covered gel products include a lycra/neoprene cover which in some cases is made from dry natural rubber. All natural rubber contains trace levels of latex and should be avoided by those with extreme sensitivities to trace amounts."
How can I clean my gel wrist rest?
To clean Fellowes Wrist Rests, simply use a damp cloth to wipe the surface clean.
How do you clean off mouse pads?
Cleaning is easy for Fellowes mouse pads. Simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth to clean any soiled or dirt on the mouse pad. We do not recommend immersing the mouse pad in water.
Is the gel harmful if accidentally ingested?
No, the gel is a non-toxic substance that may cause minor irritation, but no harmful effects.

Are your literature organizers wall mountable or stackable?

How do I attach the PrivaScreen™ Blackout Privacy Filter to my laptop or monitor screen?
How do I clean the PrivaScreen™ Blackout Privacy Filter?
For PrivaScreen™ Filters on laptops, monitors and tablets: We recommend removing the filter from the screen and using the included cleaning cloth. If smudges or other contaminates are resistant to this method, again remove the filter from the screen and use a lightly dampened cloth. We do not recommend the use of cleaning products on the filter, as it may start eating away at the coating.

Or manually measure your screen following these steps:
- Start in the lower left corner of your screen and measure to the upper right corner. This will determine the diagonal measurement of your screen. Do not include any plastic bevel or frame, just the functional part of the screen that displays graphics.
- Once you've determined the diagonal measurement, also measure the width and height in the same manner, measuring only the active portion of the screen.
- All three dimensions (Diagonal, Width and Height) are needed to ensure you choose the proper privacy filter size. It is possible that two screens share the same diagonal measurement, but have different heights and widths. These two screens would have different aspect ratios. The aspect ratio defines the proportion of the height and the width and is expressed by two numbers separated by a colon. It is important to review all of the measurements, including the aspect ratio, before purchasing a blackout filter.
How do I store the PrivaScreen™ Blackout Privacy Filter?
The filters for laptops, monitors and tablets may be removed from the device and stored in a clean, flat area, like a protective plastic folder. It is not recommended to leave the filter in an environment that may experience extreme hot and/or cold temperatures, such as a parked car.
Is my PrivaScreen™ Blackout Privacy Filter reusable?
For PrivaScreen™ Filters on laptops, monitors and tablets: the filter may be removed, stored and reused. Simply remove the filter from the screen and store in a clean, flat area, like a protective plastic folder until you are ready to use again. The tabs can remain on your screen, but the adhesive strips and L-shaped corner tabs will stick to the filter.
Is the PrivaScreen™ Blackout Privacy Filter reversible?
Yes, there is a matte side and a glossy side. The filter helps reduce glare when the matte side is facing out.

No. Microban protection provides continuous antimicrobial protection that
