" I had a previous Swingline Inc. stapler made in Great Britian over 30 years ago. Wow !!!! This LX 850 is perfect. Never compared staplers before but this new LX850 is amazing. Being able to staple 25 sheets at 1 time is so easy. My wife has carpal tunnel syndrome in both of her wrists & she suffers no pain stapling her paperwork. It is totally effective to complete her job. The Swingline was ideal back then but Fellows has engineered an excellent Stapler. I have gone past my reviewing stapler days just to see how it handled for the money. I would recommend everyone to get this stapler. All the features that come with this stapler are excellent. Thank You Fellows. "

" I've been using reduced effort staplers from competitors for the 10+ years. Over time, I've learned which ones work and which ones don't. Some will not staple all the way through if your in a hurry and don't get the stapler pushed all the way. Others jam like crazy and have such a hard time trying to clear it. Not the case with this one. For the last month, each time I've used it, it's been a quick, clean, super easy task. No jams at all. No incomplete stapled pages if your in a hurry. It goes through 25 sheets of paper with no effort, as it is rated for. Curious, I purposely went through 45 pages and it still went through all the way and secured the paper. I wouldn't go past that because the staples don't seem long enough to grip the paper when over 45 pages. I love the clean, sleek look of this stapler. I've been impressed enough that I've ordered 4 more for around the office and I'm sure once people start using them, I'll be ordering more. Having the microban technology is a bonus! I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. "

Cleanly Staples Effortlessly.

" The typical desktop stapler that most of us have probably used is the type where the top part is one unit. It’s a handle that you pull open to reveal a magazine into which you load your strip of staples. You close it and then that entire unit is what you press down on to apply a staple.
And this is where problems can arise despite staplers being around for at least 150 years. In many cases, I’ve had to adapt my touch to accommodate the stapler’s particular quirks. For one of my staplers, I have to make sure I am physically above the handle to push straight down or I won’t get the papers cleanly stapled. With others, I have to slam the handle down hard. Some are hopelessly finicky and random with regard to handle pressure.
The LX850 also has a one-unit handle. However, there is a second larger handle above it made of a very sturdy plastic. It seems to provide a little extra leverage. With the LX850 on my desk, I was able to cleanly staple 25 sheets of paper while sitting down and only using slight pressure from two fingers. The LX850 also fits comfortably in the hand for those who prefer stapling by squeezing.
It may seem like much ado about nothing. But if you are working busily, dealing with a fussy stapler gets old very fast. No one enjoys prying apart a misfired staple that mars the corner of a crisply printed document. The staple remover sometimes damages the paper further and, in any case, never seems to be around when you need it.
Speaking of which, the LX850 comes with a chrome staple remover that slides out from a rear slot. As the LX850 is touted as a “jam-free” stapler, it would appear that this handy feature will be seldomly used. Just the same, especially in a busy work environment, I can see how the remover may eventually get lost because someone neglects to return it into its slot. It would be great if there was a way to design the remover in such a way where it can be slid out and used without becoming detached from the stapler.
Another convenient feature is the depth guide – three markers just behind the crimp area on both the left and right side. You line up your paper against these markers to ensure that the staple is applied straight or at a 45-degree angle. The markers also indicate whether the staple will be applied a half inch or a quarter inch from the top of your paper. These markers are notched into the plastic and, being white-on-white, they are difficult to see. Indeed, I did not even notice them until a few days later.
Coming back to the handle, Fellowes has applied an antimicrobial treatment to help prevent bacteria. I don’t know how effective it is or how long it will last, but it is a helpful layer of protection nonetheless.

easy low effort and light weight stapler

" I have had the stapler for a few weeks now and work in a fast paced environment with lots of paper changing hands all day long. I tend to pick my staplers up and use them one handed as I am starting to move on to the next task with my other. This stapler is great for that. It took about a day of adjusting to the new shape and design of it for it to feel super comfortable and quick but my hands have thanked me. If you grab the stapler too high up from the hinge the press goes down slightly and makes the jaws close down lightly which can hinder putting a stack of paper in the jaws freely. But, once I adjusted my motion and grip to the new design it was great. It doesn't take any effort at all to use and it's not heavy in my hand like others I have had over the years. One of my clerks has asked for one at her workstation as it is much easier on her wrists to work with it. Overall, no complaints and only good results. I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. "

Avantages: easy to use, no jamming, easy on the eyes, full strip stapler, staple remover included
" 'EasyPress' is an understatement. Seems like I barely put my finger over the top of it and like magic, it stapled the pages together! I was very pleasantly surprised with the performance of the LX850 Stapler, it actually lived up to the hype. I've been using it for several weeks now and no jams! I've been working in offices for 45 years and this is the first stapler that hasn't jammed. "
